Privacy Policy
This page explains what we collect when you join the Curias waitlist, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We’ve kept it short.
What’s the short version?
- We collect your email address, your invite codes, how you found us, and when you joined.
- We use it to email you about the launch and to keep your pod together.
- We don’t sell it or share it for advertising. The waitlist page has no cookies and no trackers.
- You can unsubscribe, or ask us to delete your data, at any time.
Who runs Curias?
Curias is run by Congruence Labs, Inc., a Delaware corporation. When this page says “we” or “us,” it means Congruence Labs.
What does this page cover?
The Curias waitlist at curias.io, including invite links (curias.io/p/…), and the emails we send about it. The Curias app will have its own privacy policy when it’s released.
What do you collect?
When you join, we keep:
- Your email address.
- Your invite code. We create it for you. It’s the code at the end of your invite link.
- Who invited you. If you joined through a friend’s link, we keep their invite code.
- Where you found us. If the link you used had campaign tags, we keep them:
utm_source,utm_medium,utm_campaign,utm_content, and a source tag (for example a creator’s handle or a campus). They tell us which post, creator or campus the link came from. - When you joined. The date and time you signed up.
What don’t you collect?
We don’t ask for your name, phone number, school, or location, and we don’t save your IP address with your signup.
Why do you collect it?
- To email you about Curias. Launch news, and reminders to invite your pod. You can unsubscribe any time.
- To keep your pod together. Friends who join together end up in the same pod, and pods that join together may get in earlier.
- To see which posts and creators bring people in. We look at totals, like how many people joined from one post, not at what any one person did.
Where is it kept, and who else sees it?
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. The waitlist is stored in a database run by Supabase, in the United States. These companies host the site and store the list for us.
Like most websites, our host keeps short-lived server logs of each visit, including your IP address and browser type. We use them only to keep the site running and to block abuse.
Emails will be sent by [email provider], which receives your email address to deliver them.
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it for advertising.
Do you use cookies or trackers?
No. The waitlist page has no cookies, no ad pixels, and no third-party trackers.
The site loads nothing from other companies: the fonts and images are served from curias.io.
How long do you keep it?
Until you ask us to delete it, or until 12 months after Curias launches, whichever comes first.
What can I do about my data?
- Stop the emails. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.
- See, correct, or delete it. Email [email protected] and tell us what you’d like. We’ll reply within 30 days.
Can I join if I’m under 18?
No. Curias is for adults 18 and over, so please don’t join if you’re under 18. If we learn that someone under 18 joined, we delete their entry.
What if this policy changes?
We’ll update the date at the top of this page. If it’s a significant change, we’ll also email everyone on the waitlist.
How do I reach you?
Email [email protected]. For the rules of the waitlist itself, see our waitlist terms.
